• Why do I see 4 rotating squares / circles instead of video?

This is the behavior when video initialization fails for some reason. Usually the cause of this is that the camera is in use by another application, otherwise your camera may not be supported.


• Why do I see just a black screen?

This will usually only happen if your system does not meet the requirements. The minimum graphics cards are GMA 950, Nvidia 5200 or Radeon 9700, but some earlier models may work. The important thing to notice here is that registering will not fix your problem.


• Does iSight Screensavers support multiple displays?

Partially. It will capture the desktop background correctly, and any non-video effects will work correctly, but currently the video will only be used as the source on the primary display. You should see the 4 rotating squares / circles instead of video on the second display. Making video work on a second display is high on the priority list for a future release.
